The third-generation Mazda CX-5 is built upon the concept of “New Generation Emotional Daily Comfort,” aiming to create a vehicle that is even more beloved by customers. This all-new model retains and advances the iconic Soul of Motion design and the Jinba-Ittai driving performance, ensuring that the new CX-5 delivers joy on every drive.
CX-5 Touring
The CX-5 Touring offers useful convenience and tech features for everyday driving. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights with High Beam Control (HBC), and privacy glass on the rear windows.
Inside, there’s an eight-speaker stereo, a 12.9-inch Mazda Connect touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Qi wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control air conditioning, and the cloth seats are heated in the front row.
CX-5 SP
Central to the CX-5 range and building on the Touring model, the CX-5 SP upgrades the design and equipment with 19-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, and a powered tailgate.
The interior features an electrically adjustable driver's seat, deluxe leatherette trim in Black or Black/Pure White combination, Mazda's Active Driving Display projecting key information onto the windscreen, plus heated steering wheel and windscreen de-icer.
CX-5 Homura
The CX-5 Homura visually stands out with black gloss exterior accents, metallic black 19-inch wheels, and matching bumper trims and wheelarch mouldings. For the first time, CX-5 is available with a panoramic sunroof that adds light and ambience to the cabin.
Inside, the Homura offers leather seats, an electric passenger seat, heated outer rear seats, and a premium 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Parking is easier thanks to a 360 View Monitor with See-Through View, which now works even when mirrors are folded and provides a semi-transparent road surface view beneath the vehicle.
CX-5 Takami
The CX-5 Takami tops the range with upgrades over the Homura, including a hands-free electric tailgate, a larger 15.6-inch touch display, and gearshift paddles behind the wheel.
Takami also offers exclusive Sport Tan leather seats with ventilation for the front seats and also features the Mazda Driver Personalisation System - first introduced in the CX-90 - to automatically adjust mirrors and seating for enhanced driver comfort and control.
Powertrain
At launch the CX-5 range is powered by Mazda's respected SkyActiv-G 2.5 four-cylinder engine, producing 132 kW of power and 242 Nm of torque, whilst drive is through a 6-speed automatic transmission and standard i-Activ all-wheel drive (AWD).
The Skyactiv-G petrol returns average fuel consumption of only 7.9 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 179 g/km against the WLTP test cycle, improved figures when compared to the second-generation model. In addition, the all-new CX-5 retains a strong 1,800kg braked tow rating for all grades.
