MAZDA CX-6e Takami

The New Zealand offer will see a single, highly equipped Takami grade along with a 78 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery that combines the best elements of range, performance and charging times. The 78 kWh battery delivers a combined WLTP range of 468km, while 10 to 80 per cent charging on a 200 kW DC charger takes just 24 minutes. With a 190 kW power and 290 Nm torque output, the rear-wheel drive MAZDA CX-6e delivers responsive control and linear acceleration.

The face of the CX-6e features Mazda’s instantly recognisable signature wing, with its sequenced illumination when locking, unlocking and charging the car creating a strong three-dimensional visual effect.

The cleanly chiselled front end features aerodynamic vents that visualise the smooth airflow through the grille and over the sculpted bonnet to emphasize the car’s efficiency and performance. This feature is complemented by the slim shark-fin digital side mirrors and the air ducts located in the floating D-pillars that collectively ensure the MAZDA CX-6e glides efficiently and quietly through the air.

For the interior, the MAZDA CX-6e cabin offers a calm and comfortable environment focused on serenity and wellbeing. This sense of space is enhanced by the illuminated wing-shaped strip that runs across the width of the dashboard and the full-length insulated glass sunroof that floods the cabin in natural light.

The interior is available in two distinctive colour variations: Maztex synthetic leather in either full black or an Oyster White and black combination in CX-6e Takami.

The CX-6e Takami is equipped with digital side mirrors and a digital rear-view mirror as standard. The digital side mirrors – the first fitted to a production Mazda – use compact exterior cameras that feed live video to the interior OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) displays mounted in the doors. As well as enhancing safety by delivering a 30% wider field of view, they offer enhanced levels of vision in low-light and adverse weather conditions and contribute to the MAZDA CX-6e’s range-extending aerodynamics.

Due in New Zealand showrooms at the end of 2026, the Mazda dealer network is accepting registrations of interest.
