Mazda New Zealand first started introducing Kiwis to the wonders of its vehicles back in 1972 and has grown to become the favoured brand of many motorists, while also contributing extensively back to the community.
The company has received an array of awards (too many to list here) including winning the prestigious New Zealand Motoring Writers’ Guild Car of the Year on five occasions, for the Mazda MX-5 (twice), Mazda6, Mazda2 and Mazda3.
Based at its national headquarters in Sylvia Park, Auckland, the experienced Mazda team work closely with a nationwide dealer network that provide outstanding sales and service quality at 50 locations throughout New Zealand.
The company has always believed in the importance of giving back to the wider New Zealand community, which is why the Mazda Foundation was established in 2005. A contribution is made to the Foundation from every new Mazda vehicle sold in New Zealand. This means every new Mazda owner contributes to the work it does in the community, with a specific focus on the arts, education and environment.
One of the foundation’s key initiatives is Treemendous School Makoevers, a joint venture between the foundation and Project Crimson, that sees four schools annually receive a $10,000 outdoor education space.
