Mazda MPV

The MPV first arrived in 1989 as a rear-drive "Multi-Purpose Vehicle" featuring seating for five or seven people. In 1999 Mazda's minivan earned its first redesign with sliding rear side doors replacing the previous swing-out doors while the 2000 model switched to front-wheel drive.

The closest comparison today is the BT-50 or CX-9.
