Christchurch’s Blackwells Mazda has won Mazda’s Dealer of the Year for the second year in a row for overall excellence across all parts of its business.
Winning Mazda’s Dealer of the Year was not easy. Winning two years in a row is outstanding. All areas of the dealership operation are evaluated, including vehicle and parts sales, service department performance and customer satisfaction results.
Mazda New Zealand Managing Director, David Hodge says the team at Blackwells Mazda are constantly looking for new ways to be the best they can be for their customers.
“Our dealer awards are all about celebrating the Mazda Brand and acknowledging the hard work and dedication from our Dealer network to the Mazda customer.
“The team at Blackwells are the pinnacle of excellence among our dealer group. They are a fantastic team who all do their jobs exceptionally well.”
Dealer Principal, Seth Ovens, says he is extremely proud of the hard work his team puts in, and their commitment to putting customers first.
“We are delighted to be Mazda Dealer of the Year for the second year running. The team have taken the success we had last year and challenged themselves to do better. It’s humbling to see our efforts pay off.”
The Mazda Dealer of the Year Awards are designed to recognise excellence across all aspects of the Mazda Dealerships and judged on numerous criteria. The network is divided into three groups for the awards: Metropolitan Dealers, Provincial City Dealers and Rural Dealers. The top two scoring dealerships in each group become Dealer Performance Award winners, and the top scoring overall dealership is named Mazda Dealer of the Year.
Other Dealers recognised were: North Harbour Mazda, Pacific Motor Group, Palmfeild Motors, Nicholson Mazda and Gisborne Motors who all received Dealer Performance Awards for their outstanding performance in 2019
