WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The TrackTime Driving Academy offers a broad range of driver training solutions to meet the needs of individuals, businesses and fleet operators from private and public organisations.
The programme is also designed to support employers with their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act of April 2016, by delivering high quality driver training to ensure the safe operation of motor vehicles by employees in the workplace.
Aside from maintaining the highest standards in workplace safety, investment in driver training also contributes significant financial benefit for businesses and fleet operators, whereby research shows that trained drivers have less incidence of vehicle damage resulting in fewer insurance claims and repair bills for employers.
WHAT DOES THE COURSE INCLUDE?
The TrackTime Driving Academy is run by New Zealand's most qualified driver trainers; with over 20 years' experience and a rich history of involvement in various motor sport disciplines.
While elements may be varied to suit an individual or organisation, the core programme offers a comprehensive one-day training module with a mix of theoretical instruction and practical skills application across a wide curriculum from hazard recognition and accident avoidance to vehicle maintenance.
Participants receive interactive feedback throughout the session with a full competency assessment provided at the conclusion of the programme. Detailed reporting and evaluation can be made available to employers, as required for their workplace safety governance.
In addition to the core training programme, the TrackTime Driving Academy offers refresher training, advanced instruction as well as a range of corporate experiences (subject to availability, conditions apply).
WHEN, WHERE AND HOW MUCH?
Using a fleet of new-generation Mazda vehicles equipped with the latest engineering and safety technologies, the TrackTime Driving Academy operates throughout New Zealand with one-day training programmes delivering high quality instruction and maximum time spent applying practical skills.
TrackTime Driving Academy pricing starts from $450 (plus GST) per driver for a one-day training programme which includes full instruction as well as a catered lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Please note that courses are limited to 30 participants per day with placement only open to drivers with a valid full or restricted New Zealand Licence.
