Its official. New Zealand is now at Level 2.

Well done New Zealand, it has been difficult and challenging, but we have all made a collective effort to assist in managing and containing the virus.

However, we also know that we cannot revert back to how business was before COVID-19 yet.

Mazda is committed to putting the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff first. So, while Mazda Dealerships are opening from Thursday 14 May, we have new procedures in place based on the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and New Zealand Government so everyone stays safe and supported.

Mazda On Call Roadside Assistance continues to operate as an essential service throughout the levels. The team are available 24/7 for customers that require assistance, you can reach them on 0800 800 626.

Level 2 - This is what it means for the Mazda community.

All dealerships welcome customers to visit for their sales, servicing and parts requirements. Our new Mazda Drivercare system means that you can visit us with peace of mind that our premises are sanitised and adhere to Government guidelines. However, we will still be offering contactless servicing and test drive options if that is your preference. Contact your local dealership here regarding your vehicle requirements. The friendly sales, parts and service staff are available, while maintaining a physical distance of at least 1 metre, and other Level 2 protocols.

Warranty and Mazdacare Extensions

We recognize that COVID-19 has led to a lot of uncertainty and disruptions, rest assured that your Mazda warranty and Mazdacare periods have been extended by two months. Please visit here for all the nitty gritty.

Test Drives

Talk to our sales team, and arrange a test drive in your favorite Mazda, while maintaining social distancing. Our dealers will also continue to offer contactless test drives should you wish to do so.

Vehicle Servicing

Our service centres are open and will be operating under government requirements, including distancing and vehicle sanitising procedures. Many of our dealers will still be offering contactless pick-up and delivery service.

Discuss with your local dealer the best way for you to get your vehicle serviced.

Social Distancing

All dealers will be adhering to the social distancing rules with at least 1 metre distancing between staff and customers and monitoring the total number of people on the premises at any one time.

Key Touch points will be sanitised after each service or test drive. And if you choose to buy a new or used vehicle, they too will be sanitised for you.

Contact Tracing

We will continue to collect contact details from all visitors to ensure that we comply with contact tracing guidelines. This information will be stored strictly for reference.
