Vehicle Recalls
As part of our on-going commitment to driving pleasure and safety there may be a need to recall vehicles outside the normal service schedule. This can be for safety related factors or to implement a modification to the vehicle.
If you own a New Zealand new Mazda vehicle that must be recalled, Mazda New Zealand or an authorized Mazda New Zealand Dealer will contact you.
If you own a Used Import Mazda vehicle and a SAFETY recall is applicable, Mazda New Zealand will make every effort to obtain lists of the affected vehicles and request relevant owner information from Land Transport New Zealand and Mazda New Zealand or an authorized Mazda New Zealand Dealer will contact you.
When enquiring about an imported Mazda vehicle please use the Japanese VIN Number e.g. BJFW100213. You CANNOT use the 17 digit VIN number issued by LTNZ e.g.7A8C10H0707100213
To check if there is a current safety related recall on your vehicle, please type in your vehicle chassis number into the appropriate box below.
All work will be carried out free of charge (both parts and labour) at your nearest Mazda Dealer.
