The all-new Mazda6 is the second model to feature a full range of ground-breaking SKYACTIV Technologies. Featuring everything from lighter structural metals that offer greater body rigidity to new petrol and diesel engines as well as a new lightweight automatic transmission, SKYACTIV has brought about a reduction in overall body weight from the previous model. This has led to a new sweetness in handling, a staggering improvement in fuel efficiency (of up to 20%) plus lower emissions.

THE POWER OF WORLD-FIRST TECHNOLOGY

Energy isn’t just saved in the Mazda6; it is recycled. i-ELOOP is a breakthrough innovation that collects the energy generated during braking and, in a world first, stores it in an on-board capacitor for use by the vehicle’s electrical system. In this way i-ELOOP reduces the dependency on converting fuel to electrical energy, saving fuel for what it should be used for; more Zoom-Zoom driving enjoyment and less time at the pumps.
